Attorney-at-law registered with the Katowice Bar Association. Rafał studied at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia. He trained and qualified as a judge with the Katowice Appeal Court.
Rafał has extensive experience and a long track record of advising on corporate restructuring in and out of court. For many years he has advised on real estate deals.
He is on the management and supervisory boards of commercial companies, some of which are listed companies, and an advisor to banks and investment funds.
He applies his know-how acting as an interim manager and sitting on the management boards of organisations undergoing restructuring.
Rafał devises and implements restructuring strategies, and this comprises corporate restructuring and corporate debt restructuring.
He advises creditors, debtors, management boards, and shareholders of businesses undergoing restructuring, and advises restructuring advisors as well.
He assists with negotiations and provides representation should cases go to litigation.
He provides advice in Polish and English. He manages Law_in’s Katowice and Gdynia offices.
After hours, he is a devoted fan of his wife’s talents, an avid enthusiast of his daughters’ horse-riding events, and a skier.
