- Attorney-at-law registered with the Warsaw Bar Association. Tomasz studied at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Łodź. He is a doctor of law, and wrote his doctor’s thesis on cross-border bankruptcy under EU Law.
- In 2009 – 2010, he was an assistant professor at the Chair of European Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Łódź.
He has been registered as a European Commission expert on bankruptcy law since September 2007. Tomasz’s practice focus is corporate law and corporate bankruptcy and restructuring law, and he has been a partner at Wicherkiewicz Chilarski Radcowie Prawni sp.p. (2017-2024), Głowacki Chilarski Sieklicki sp.k. (2014-2017), Kancelaria Radców Prawnych Wicherkiewicz Chilarski sp.j. (2011-2014), and attorney-at-law at Domański Zakrzewski Palinka Spółka Komandytowa (formerly G. Domański, D. Szubielska i Wspólnicy Spółka Komandytowa) (1998-2011).
Tomasz has acted as an advisor to the Ukraine Ministry of Justice and Ukrainian-European Policy and Legal Advice Center in the process of harmonisation of Ukrainian bankruptcy law with EU standards and regulations. - He has authored a number of publications on corporate law and bankruptcy law, in particular on international bankruptcy law, and
- has spoken at bankruptcy law conferences.
- He has conducted bankruptcy law and corporate law training and seminars for the Łódź Bar Association, Warsaw Notary Chamber, National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution, Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce, Łódź Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and for business.
- Tomasz is a Business Centre Club corporate law and bankruptcy law expert, member of the Restructuring Practitioner Association, member of the Section of Bankruptcy Law at the Allerhand Institute, member of the National Chamber of Restructuring Advisors, and a member of the Business Intelligence Club.
- He jointly manages the firm’s Warsaw office.
- After hours, he does yoga and skiing, and is interested in contemporary history.
